Valves, Grating, Stairs and Railings

Valves in solid plastic (PP, PVDF, PVC, PE) offer significantly higher chemical resistance than metallic valves in services with acids, alkalis, hypochlorites, saline solutions and solvents. They eliminate internal corrosion and coating-adhesion issues, and are manufactured in the same material as the tank or process pipework, ensuring full compatibility.

Three families: level indicators with direct visualisation (sight glass or transparent column for visual reading), level indicators with continuous electrical signal (capacitive, ultrasonic or radar probes for SCADA integration), and level indicators with minimum/maximum alarms to prevent overflow or tank emptying. All in anticorrosive materials compatible with the fluid.

FRP grating in fibreglass-reinforced polyester does not corrode in environments with acidic vapours or chemical splashes, where galvanised grating oxidises within a few years. They are also lighter (around 30% less weight), electrically insulating, fire-retardant with the right resins, and require no periodic painting or galvanising maintenance.

Yes. TECNIUM designs FRP stairs and railings in compliance with applicable safety regulations (UNE-EN 14122 for permanent access to machinery, local fall-prevention regulations, etc.). Non-slip strips, toe boards and other standard safety elements can be incorporated.
