TECNIUM accessibility policy
In building this website we have sought to make the information accessible to all types of users, regardless of the hardware or software used to access it, following the web accessibility guidelines set by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and applying the WCAG level AA web content guidelines. The following have been taken into account:
- Structuring pages using heading elements.
- Controlling the presentation of pages through a style sheet (CSS).
- Clear identification of each page through the use of metadata.
- Use of clear and concise language in text, headings and links.
The accessible technologies HTML5 and CSS3 have been used to develop the site, together with others supported by most browsers and devices. The tools used to verify this have been:
- W3C Markup Validation Service, to check the HTML5 code: validator.w3.org
- W3C CSS Validation Service, to validate the CSS style sheet: jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator
Display features
The TECNIUM website is designed to display correctly on most devices. If you have a monitor with a very high resolution, the font size may in some cases appear small. However, font sizes have been defined so that it is possible to increase or decrease them from the browser options.
The easiest way to change the text size in modern browsers is to hold down the “Ctrl” key while turning the mouse wheel. It is also possible to do this from the keyboard:
- To increase the text size: press the “Ctrl” key together with the “+” key.
- To decrease the text size: press the “Ctrl” key and the “-” key.
- To return to the normal size: press the “Ctrl” key and the number 0 key.
