Biofiltration: TECNIUM-BIO
The use of environmental friendly technologies has been the motor of researching lines of last decades. This has allowed us to put up to date systems for gas cleaning and odor control through organic and inorganic biofilters.
This is a clean way of removing odors and VOC’s, using microorganisms contained in the biomass where the gas is circulated previously conditioned (temperature and adequate moisture, absence of dust and pollutants bactericides, etc…)
Advantages
- High efficiency
- Low operating cost
- Versatility to cope with multiple combinations of biodegradable gas
- No polluting sewage or difficult disposal
Process
- Capture:installation to extract the air and send it to the biofilter
- Conditioning:pretreatment of the gas
- Cleaning:Biofilter,biological descomposition process
Applications
Biological treatment of gases solves the problem of biodegradable gas pollution (organic and inorganic). As main field of application, however, two major questions of great relevance can be mentioned:
- Odors
- V.O.C. ( volatil organic compounds)
