TECNIUM is heavily involved in FRP tank manufacturing. FRP tanks play a hugely important role in the manufacturing industry. Here we’ll take a detailed look at TECNIUM’s FRP tanks, what they are used for, their design, deposits, thermoplastics, and thermoplastic frits.
An FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic) tank is a vessel made for construction in the manufacturing industry. FRP is the construction material and the tanks can range in size from less than meter to more than 20 meters.
TECNIUM’s FRP tanks are designed to be used in several different settings in the manufacturing industry depending on your company’s individual needs and requirements.
FRP tanks are largely used in the manufacturing industry. FRP tanks are widely used in the following areas: chlor-alkali manufacturers, fertilizer, wood pulp and paper, metal extraction, refining, electroplating, brine, vinegar, food processing, and in air pollution control equipment, especially at municipal wastewater treatment plants and water treatment plants.
FRP tanks are made to very strict standards in terms of safety and mechanical resistance. TECNIUM’s FRP tanks are made to the highest possible standards and conform with all technical regulations.
TECNIUM provides a wide range of FRP tanks. TECNIUM’s FRP tanks are anti corrosive, making them absolutely perfect for use in all types of industry settings. They are available in a standard size or featuring an under plan tank. They are frequently used in reactors, silos and tanks, and can also function as decanters or thickeners. All TECNIUM’s FRP tanks are manufactured according to international design standards, and comply with APQ-06 and IPPC regulations. It is possible to design the FRP tanks so that it falls in line with the ATEX Directive.
- The capacity of TECNIUM’s FRP tanks range from 500 to 200,000 l.
- The pressure on TECNIUM’s FRP tanks is available up to 6 bar and the vacuum is possible up to 750 tor.
- All FRP tanks are available in different sizes such as vertical, horizontal, and rectangular.
- TECNIUM’s FRP tanks use valves, tramex, stairs and handrails, depending on requirements.
Thermoplastics such as polypropylene, PVDF, PE, PVC, FEP, PFA, and E-CTFE are utilized in FRP models. GRP such as bisphenolic and stervinyl polyester resins, with very high chemical resistance are also used. PRFV like orthophthalic polyester resins, cross-linked with styrene for reinforcement is an additional element used in FRP tanks. TECNIUM also makes use of special manufacturing for its laminates by using PP/GRP, PVC/GRP, PVDF/GRP, E-CTFE/GRP, and PE/GRP.
In relation to special plastic valves and accessories, TECNIUM provides a wide range of solutions such as solid plastic valves (automatic regulation, safety, aeration, etc.), anticorrosive levels, which have visualization, continuous electrical signal or alarm functions. The gratings and railings of TECNIUM’s FRP tanks are made of polyester-fiberglass.The installation of TECNIUM’s FRP tanks is done according to APQ-6.
TECNIUM puts all its technical team and service personnel at your disposal for the project. We are experts at the realization and legalization of complete turnkey installations for storage, transfer, truck unloading, dosing, process, etc.
You can rest assured that TECNIUM is highly experienced in the supply of safety elements, treatment of vents, walkways and structures, preparation of reports and plans, etc. All our products and fittings are subject to legalization according to APQ-6, IPPC, etc
